Oh My!! I can't believe it is so close
Mike and I still are planning on driving the red '84 (which is for sale if any of you are interested). Anyway, we will probably drive it to Bowling Green and back here to Chattanooga. We also may pick up our 10th anniv. and drive it along with our red '84 to Braselton. I would like to hope that the red '84 will sell, and Mike and I can drive back to Chattanooga together.
Also, I will probably let my son-in law drive our '79 SE to East Ridge. So as you see, we are still trying to figure out what to drive where!!

Glad the rig will make the trip and will definitely miss Mark and Deb. I am itching to get going. Took the car out for a 2 hour ride and we are good to go with a wipe down. My wife has decided to stay back and to make room for 2 new runners, my dad and my 15 year old son. My 3rd trip and now bringing 3 generations along.
Now, someone please tell me "why are we doing this?"
Because it's SO MUCH FUN!!! :

Finally made my hotel reservations!!! The Braselton Country Inn has no spots left in the Bandit block. Had to get a room with out the Bandit discount. Guy still gave me like 10 dollars off and its only 10 more than the Bandit rate. So I said book it!

Well, it appears luck is not on our side. Our paint guy fell through on getting the car done on time. We could risk it and have it done on time for the run, but the paint will not have nearly enough time to cure. The road and bugs would eat it apart so we're not going to risk having to redo it.
We've been looking forward to this since we found out about it, but we'll have to just catch some beach time on the gulf instead since our vacation is already in place. We'll be 10-10 on the side.

You guys could always rent a new Camaro and still join us! It's been done before and will be done again!
You won't regret it!
