I just wanted to let you know that there are currently around 30 Bandit Runners attending the POCI convention. As you have heard, the host hotel is fully booked and so are the hotels that ajoin that property. Therefore, we are recommending the La Quinta Inn in Bowling Green that hosted the Bandit Run this year, It is about 3 or 4 miles away from the host hotel and they are offering a rate of $74 ($83.94 with tax) including breakfast. Please make sure you ask for the POCI rate. The phone number for the La Quinta is (270) 783-0083.

You can register online for the convention here: www.poci.org/...istration.cfm
You only need to register once per family. They will mail you a packet that will include a form to mail back with the names of those attending. Even if you are not showing your car (many of us our leaving our TAs at home), you need to register in order to attend events.

Hal Needham will be speaking on Friday, July 8th at 2 pm. Copies of his book will be on sale, and he will be signing some autographs. I know he will appreciate the support of the Bandit Runners. Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing some of you there.

A bunch of us will be staying at the LaQuinta. I have tried to gather up the bandit runners and make this our hotel of choice. Can't wait to see everyone there.

The LaQuinta is the hotel I have booked. Delivering the Y82 this weekend, sold it so... no TA for me. The solargold 79 400/4 speed is in resto so I will be in the Chevy Silverado and my wife is coming along to meet ya'll before the 2012 run.

Sounds great-We are coming in a rental car. No TA for us either. We are just looking forward to meeting Hal and visiting with friends.
