Sounds like a plan, Foxy. By the way, here is a photograph I took in front of the Hyatt (I had friends visiting from Sydney last September) where you'll be staying. Sad to say she turned in the saddle just as I snapped her photo--and yes, she was actually riding this longhorn, not statically posing for pictures.
Only in Texas, my friend. Only in Texas. It's a whole other country.
Cheers, mate.

Great PIC Tinman. Reminds me of the Barnyard Pimp!
You are right about one thing - only in Texas. It's a whole other country.

Okay, Solargold...you got me there. You're right. We don't ride jack rabbits down here in Texas. Now them giant armadillos--well, that's another story.

Let's plan on connecting sometime Friday afternoon...
FOXY--
If you're coming directly from the airport or from a hotel somewhere close to DFW, the Sam Rayburn tollway (known as SRT and previously SH121) starts to the northeast of the airport and is about a thirty minute drive passing close to the house.
mburress--
Where would be a good place to rendevous for you?
tinman5
If you are coming up 121 you'll be going right by my house - we could meet at 121 and lake forest.

Mike--
Good to know, we're only a few miles from each other. I know there's a Boston's between Lake Forest and West Stacy but not sure if that's the best place to consider since it's on the southbound side of SRT.
Got you message, will call soon and we'll lock something down that will make it easy for Mac (Geno) and Foxy (as well as anyone else that can join us) to find without the need for a GPS and still be close to our intended route.
Don't forget your camera and camcorder if you have them!

Yeah will be travelling from Fort Worth stockyards area late friday morning. You make the call where to meet & I will find it given that you know the area better than me. I will have GPS so should'nt be a problem. If ya can't be good --- be good at it !!!!

I think that tinman has some ideas on where to meet. I know the area quite well and can meet anywhere, assuming that we get the car finished of course
