Maybe the gator farm lunch could be put off until noon, then that would free up the needed time to make both stops!
      What do you think?

My thoughts are... both stops can be accomplished in the allotted time... if you don't care to the see the alligators... which I don't. I'll be at the RJF at 10 am when they open... stay 30-40 mins and then arrive at Klieberts ahead of 12 noon for some Jambalaya... seen one gator... you've seen em all but it's the lunch I'm after. biggrin image

I have Emailed Red Jacket about an early visit, I think early morning traffic may also be a factor. We may have to chose one or the other and still have time to catch up to Debbie' s next surprise.. I'll keep you posted, for me its RED JACKET...SHAIN...........

Red Jacket has said the gift shop is open 7 days a week. They do not mention opening early for the BANDITS. Those that want to see Red Jacket it would seem we need to go there and miss out on the gator. Its your call. Early morning traffic will also be a factor. They also mentioned the shop is off limits...Thanks, SHAIN.............SAYONARA

Agreed, the more I think about it, less excited I am to bust my ass just for a gift shop...Bring on the gators!!

If the timing works out, I'll make up my mind at that point, but for now, probabaly not going to stop.

... just won a new shotgun from Ducks Unlimited last week... Camo Remington 887 pump with all the chokes. That may satisfy my gun wants for awhile so Im good with stopping or not Leon... I'm with ya smile image

'Course I been supporting my 2nd son and his DU Athens group for couple of years... truth be known... probably paid what a good V8 would cost for donations on that gun over the past 2 years (that $400 shotgun prolly cost me $1500). eek image

What we do for our kids. hyper image

The Rand McNally.com mileage says 61 miles from the Lafayette hotel to RJF and then only 41 miles to the gator farm and lunch...so it won't be an issue with time and stopping unless you just don't care to do the gift shop... which I prolly won't. smile image
