As you all may remember, Alan Dunsworth was a 1st time runner this year on the bandit beach run and always had a big smile on his face. He was a passenger with his brother, Dwight Dunsworth, who has been on multiple runs. Alan passed away yesterday after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 48.

Dwight shared with me many times how much fun he and his brother had on this run and wanted to thank everyone for helping make his last days memorable and fun.

I have attached a picture of Dwight, Alan, Brenda & Gary that was taken in Daytona, FL on the run.

Please keep the Dunsworth family in your prayers.

      Thank you,
      Michelle & Dave

Adam and I are sorry to hear about Alan. He was a really cool guy. I sat with him and Dwight a lot of mornings at breakfast talking. He was a very positive guy. Always had something good to say. He will surly be missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Alan's family. I am glad he got to join us last year and the trip was a memorable experience for him. He will be missed by fellow Bandit Runners.

Thanks for all the prayers and kind words of support. Alan really enjoyed meeting all the Bandit Runners. Doing the Beach Run with his brother was a bucket list moment we both will never forget. A week later he was walking his daughter Kimberly down the aisle on her wedding day over the Memorial Weekend one of his last memories. He left behind two beautiful daughters, a loving family and many great friendships that will all be reunited when we join him in eternity. God Bless!

Dwight, I am sorry to hear about Alan. I have thought alot about you and the family since I heard the news. I can relate to the loss since my younger brother, Lenn, on June 29th. Lenn was 48 also and went into cardiac arrest after surgery.

Our prayers are with you and your family!
      God Bless!
      Ron
