I think you're right in that the 5th run will be something special. We are looking at this trip as going through parts of the country we haven't been through before----is it really "only" 750 miles extra to loop out to Mt Rushmore and back to Lincoln?

AHHH C'Mon I thought Americans were tough enough to travel & want to see some of their fine country. I know for a fact that coming from across the pond in Australia aint too far to travel to attend this awesome event.
I think you would call that southern enough ( LOL )
Can't wait to catch up with y'all

This will be my third BR. Total mileage in 2009 was 6480 and for 2010, it was 6858. Not too far for a dumb Canadian (lol).

Knowing how you have cared for your car that's like 6 oil changes in roughly 2 weeks. Glad you'll be back for another run.

I agree... I've done The Bandit Run for 4 years now and I started from Minnesota every year... It's not the mileage... It's getting together with everyone and the new Bandit Runner's... Just Do-It if you can... It's priceless... hyper image

Made the first 2 runs, but unfortunately, Silver Streak and I will not be attending again this year. frown image With all the moving around in the last 2 years and other things going on, I just can't afford it. Hopefully next year things will be different and the trek from San Diego will happen. Only time will tell. Looking forward to all the pics and videos though!
