After much discussion, we have decided a group of us will be headed out Thursday morning from Newnan, GA. Mark and I will drive over on Wednesday night and spend the night in Newnan. Then we will hit the road with Tyler & Lisa and Wayne in the Snowman truck. We are going to drive to Vicksburg, MS and meet up with some other Bandit Runners: Ric, GTO Stan & Solargold. We will leave Vicksburg Friday morning for the drive into Texarkana. I am currently working on a group rate at one of the riverfront casino hotels in Vicksburg. It should be a lot of fun! If anyone is interested in joining us, please let me know as soon as possible.

      Thanks

Well we have decided to stay at the LaQuinta Inn in Newnan GA on Wednesday night. We are not holding rooms there but rates are cheap.

If anyone wants to meet us Thursday night in Vicksburg, MS let me know ASAP. We are going to have a little pre-Bandit Run car show with the Snowman truck and our cars at the Riverwalk Hotel & Casino on Thursday May 10th. I have booked a limited amount of rooms for $49 that night so let me know if you would like to join us. We will then cruise together to Texarkana on friday. steeringwheel image

ok Deb... you gotta stop sneaking in these extra days for the run & making me feel guilty for not being there ... I'm beginning to think I'm gonna have to take off the whole month of May just to see and do everything on the 2012 Bandit Run!

I can't afford to be away from work more than a week at a time! Stop stretching this thing out! lmao image

I'm already in the "dawg house" for missing Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11th. frown image

You know I'm kidding... this trip is so much fun - I cannot wait to get rolling!!! biggrin image

The Bandit and Snowman made it from Atlanta to Texarkana and back to Atlanta in 28 hours. It's going to take us 9 days for the 2012 run to accomplish the same task. Looks like we are going to have to keep practicing biggrin image

Yes that's what I keep telling my wife... practicing is a real good thang. 'cause practicin makes perfect! lmao image And when it comes to bandit runnin - there 's nothing like the practicin! We practice every year... so that one year, we get to run with the truck out to Texarkana and back to Atlanta in 28 hours.... that's the whole point. She's beginning to get it. biggrin image

So Dave, in 2027 when we are all old fogies (some of us are now lmao image ), we get to run the BR trip in 28 hours!! Dang it, we aught to be practiced up by then. Heck...cars won't even run on tires anymore by then, we'll all be flying around in Beemer looking Cessnas or some sort. eek image idea image

Sounds like a plan. Somebody call Debbie and tell her she's been one-upped... Stan's already planned the 2027 run. We all will fly and Stan will run blocker. lmao image

Sorry, guys...it'll never work. By 2027, most of us won't get past the Texarkana city limits before we all get pulled over in our golf carts and motorized wheelchairs.
