Tic-Toc we're on the clock. How did this slip up on me. I need wheels, tires, exhaust, all kinds of clean-up work, it's time to start chasing parts.GTO Stan

Parts are showing up, the UPS guy is keeping track, SSBC, Magnaflow, SLP, and Corsa so far. The CB mount is installed. Pam is starting to squirm. And there's fluid on the floor under the front differential seal.GTO Stan

Cold, snow and ice everywhere. Parts laying around and it's too cold to work on the car. Now I'm getting frustrated. Still thinking about stretching things out a little and going to Mt Rushmore on the way to Dave's place.GTO Stan

Ever see a 4th gen trans am with no wing? The Firehawk has brand new paint. Should be back together in a couple of days. With luck I can spend a snowy week end buffing it out. What's the weather like in Lincoln in April?GTO Stan

Car still isn't back from paint---something about an air brush guy taking longer. I learned the hard way (on the other car) that when a differential seal starts to leak for no reason, you ought to check the vent before you tear stuff apart--twice.

I hear ya, our TA is still in paint as well. We're supposed to get it back the week before and head directly to our interior guy to do his thing with it. Talk about a time crunch!

Car is back, looks great. One of a kind bird on the hood. New exhaust now it's too rich. Chassis dyno on Friday.
26 degrees this morning. Barely beat a snow storm out of Missouri last week. I think Mount Rushmore is out of the picture for this trip. Looks like it's still buried in snow-----going to Florida on the back end of the Run instead. Are we going to need snow tires? Don't think chains will work with a plastic body.GTO Stan

Atlanta is wet and cool this week with hail storms this past weekend but NO SNOW in a while now.
Florida was nice two weeks ago when we were at Siesta Key on the Gulf!
I miss that beach this week!
