Hello everyone, I just wanted to put the word out about our F-body club here on the Gulf Coast, Southern F-body Owners Group. We now have chapters in Pensacola, FL...Mobile, AL...Gulfport/Biloxi, MS...Hattiesburg, MS....and New Orleans, LA. We are a Firebird-Camaro club open to all models of the Fbody platform and open to all years...yes even the new Camaro even though its not officially a F-body anymore. Please check out our site and give us a shout. Thank you for your time and support.www.southernfbody.com

Ive been posting about the BR on my clubs website and Im pretty sure that a few members will be showing up. I hope so at least. This will be my first year to make the run...some of it anyways. Ive always supported the cause by buying tshirts and decals, so hopefully my contribution, albeit a small one has helped make this possible again. I look forward to seeing and meeting everyone.

PM me or email me your address and when I get to the post office, I'll mail ya some club business cards and a decal or two....what color decal would ya want? As for the cards, they have our web address on them and whatnot. I usually pass them out when I run into other Camaro/Firebird owners or if I see one in a carlot I'll leave one under the wiper or windowsweep. The group is 2 yrs old but we're continually growing and looking for more places to go and have meets. It would be nice to have some Jackson folks haning out....seems like everyone up there is into Mustangs for some reason. We have members who are into just about everything (drag racing, autocross, shows, cruising, customizing, etc) so youll find someone who shares that same interest. Anyhoo, we are dues free, obligations free and most importantly DRAMA FREE. While I am the group president, whenever a club decision is made, its done with everyones opinions in mind and majority rules. So please accept the invitation to check out our site and participate in the fun. Thanks in advance, Larry Mowery, www.southernfbody.com

Sounds like a plan....we've got members in TX, LA, MS, AL, FL and one in Canada....yeah I know thats not in the south...lol. He recently had to move back to Canada for his ailing mother, but we kid him and say its ok since he lives in South Canada near the border....lol Anyhoo, the club just turned 2yrs old this month and we're always looking for more members. More members, means more ideas, more fun, more things to do. I think there will be a few of our members going to the Fbody gathering in Atlanta this year...maybe you can catch up with some of them, have some fun and make some new friends.
