Between dealing with the insurance company on my sons car, and we know how they like to go by the book, the blue book, not in this case so I had to get a apprasier to come out, then retain an attorney to handle the jerk who hit him, trying to get with Tyler on the rig, trying to finish my car, trying to leave the family with enough of the chours completed, then the transmission in Blue makes a whin, and a thud and that was it.... pulled the pan, and was red band pieces and metal,in it. and I dont build automatics, thats a seperate field, that My sons in school for, talked with his teacher at North metro were he goes and he said he would build it next week at no charge if I supplied the parts during class time, offered him so after hours compensation, he would not take, so I found a guy here in kennesaw near me that Loves smokey and the bandit, so I am hoping he can have it ready in time, seeing , mark and heidi, and mmgy, and everyone else trying to get these cars to make the trip and the end is STRESSFUL.....i even had hooked up a little secret device on my car in the front, hopful I will get to use it......aint strobes, but close.....UGH...........broke, stressed, tired, whatelse can happen.... a meteor fall from the sky.?Same Bat time.....

Sorry to hear the troubles, get it fixed and meet where you can and stay as long as you can. If nothing else just come along, we have open seats. At least you'll be happy to know the meteor isn't falling from the sky this week, NASA says it is a few years away
Any day above ground is a GOOD day!!!

a load of chumbucks later, the original trans case has new internals and torque converter, bolt it in on friday am, also theres a fellow runner here in kennesaw driving a sweet silver 4th gen with (I think ) with polished torque thrust type rims.???(didnt see him or her)..and across from that was a blk /gold 77 T/A thats was being sent to volo auto museum, and had Burt "bandit" Reynolds signature on the hood....anyone here of this car?had no way to photo it, not even by cell....anyway, rebuilt trans has a 400 converter, with HD clutches, gentleman that built it said it took the heavy duty rebuild kit,so it was a little more, but at least the powertrain is fresh, now all it has to do it get around the sunshine state, get me home that it can do whatever it likes............see ya'll early Sunday morning at Year One,
