This is my TA as it sits. Getting ready to pull the motor. Gonna gasket match the intake to head ports. Apply some ceramic coating to the bearings, possibly the cam and pistons. HOPFULLY fix the oil leak I've had for a couple years. Thanks to Mark (aka Chum Brother) I may have it licked this time.

Also looking for a complete rear end with 2.73 gears in it. I'm tired of running 3500rpm at 70mph.

The heads, intake, oil pan, radiator and water pump are coated with a heat transfere coating of mine.

And the new/rebuilt rear is awesome too! I don't need it for speed, but it sure did help with gas mileage on the run!

      Thanks Markie Mark!! biggrin image

boggled image I had to put airshock'ems on the Little Red Head TA a year or so ago... dang thang just about squatted in the rear with a full size spare, tools, jack, clothing apparel, folding chair, extra this and that cleaning supplies... dang thang needed a lift in the dexterior portion if ya knowhatimean. Shocks work good though... level's her right out fine until you hit an alligator in the road. crazy image Hopefully Solargold's friends, the Klieberts, have 'em out of the road for us.
eye-popping image Do the Klieberts deal with dead alligators or just live ones?

OK-smart guys---going over the Firehawk yesterday, the passenger side rear suspension stop is worn and the axle housing is smooth. It's been bottoming out a lot. The drivers side still has a factory sticker on the axle housing with no wear. The car sets level the clearance from the stop to the axle is the same on both sides. The spings look fine and the shocks are dry. I think it gets new shocks I'm wondering about springs. LS1 Tech doesn't have anything on this. Any ideas?

      BRING ON THE BANDIT RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The car is together and running. applause image applause image applause image applause image

Had my buddy tune on the carb on Monday ( 4/9).

He added two degrees initial timing to it also. And the motor likes it. thumbsup image

It's set at 14 now. Motor seems more responsive, crisper when you hit the throttle.

Now to swap out the rear.

Best of all...........................I still have 3 1/2 weeks to go. woot2 image

Havent looked under the car yet. ashamed image

What is your question? I've pulled mine out a few times and I'm all over LS1tech, same screen name.
