OK, how high do I need to lift the motor to change out the oil pump? High enough that I might as well take it out.............which is not a problem at all.
Or is it better to just take it out, instead of (pixxing around) laying on your back under the car, trying to reach everything.

Nah Ron, It was my fault. Heavy right foot.
I'm taking the crank to my buddies tonight. At the engine builders tomorrow. Should be back home Thursday at the latest. Car running by weekend.

darn sorry to hear about the engine mark,was it a rod or main bearing that failed?.just curious?.....plenty of time....You can do it......The force is Strong in you...... Same Bat time.....
