1) Engine rebuild
2) 6 Speed Tranny swap
3) Interior redone
4) Suspension redone
5) Rust found and removed
6) Repainted
7) New set of 15x8 Year one repro wheels
Rear End serviced/rebuilt
9) Air conditioning/heating reworked
10) New rubbers around the windows and doors
11) New floorpans
12) yadda yadda yadda
In short.............It needs help...........Nothing really has been done to it other than when I bought it. I put a windshield in it, a new front tire (to my eternal shame right now I can't afford a full new set of TA radials), a new carb, and a new stereo. While it's all in one piece, and it's driveable, and everything works, it needs redone. One reason I'm so excited about The Bandit Run starting in Branson this year is that I'd like to show my wife what a first class Trans Am CAN be, because right now she HATES what mine IS (and, to a point, rightfully so..........It's just about worn slick. It RUNS, but it's a bit threadbare).

Boy do i feel your pain, but i will hope as you do, that your wife will come around. Seeing all the cars that will be there should make it all better...MattP

The list is ever getting shorter ( and longer at the same time...)
-as of right now our shops list is getting short with; paint the door handle cups, clean up dash, wipers, and bolt the seats down. still waiting on our friend to finish the interior door pannels. but at the same time more projects for other shops are growing...
-the car needs to go to a local shop for the exhaust and wheel balance
-a shop farther away will work on the suspension
-and the last two projects i do not know where they'll be taking place, the sound system was completely blown so i want a more up to date (but not obvious system put into it) and i want the windows tinted, just a little bit...
keep it easy

Depends on which "bird" rolls west. The 75 just needs a little warming up, maybe some leds for the rear. It has been the ride for the run the last 2 times.
The 2000 just needs gas and maybe some new shoes.
When it gets a little closer to the Run I'll make the decision . A lot will depend on gas prices. The 2000 soars and just sips , the 75 rumbles and guzzles!
Honestly glad to be faced with that kind of dilemna tho! Best wishes to those thrashing away on their rides.Ponchofreek
