Stock springs are on the car now, just did the swap lastnight. Started putting sound deadener in the trunk area. Little things make a big difference.
How's this thing go back together???

I basicly broke even selling the lowering springs and buying the acoustic mat for the car. I've got plenty to do before the run.
How's this thing go back together???

I know the feeling Bri! Between College Tuition and rebuilding my dad's tractor, I am drained! Well like I said, kick the tires, check the fluids, fill 'er up and head to Texarkana!"Ready to Roll Roy?"

All--
This forum is plastered with all kinds of comments about how Bandit Runners are such great friends...but I've got solid proof. I tried to get my '73 Brewster Green T/A ready two years ago in order to give my tried and true '76 LE T/A a rest and quickly ran out of time. This year, fellow Bandit Runner 7879TA (James) has stepped up BIG time. He hauled my '73 to his shop (150+ miles one way) and I have been meeting him periodically to work on the car--but he has taken the initative and invested considerable sweat equity without once requesting or expecting anything (save having the car on the run).
Here's the current checklist (items in green are now complete, red are remaining):
Interior: install new dash, heater core, refresh/rebuild gauge cluster (tach, quartz clock, new circuit board, high intensity bulbs, new plastic lenses), headlight switch, cigarette lighter, dash speakers, AM/FM/MP3 stereo, seat belts, door panels, CB radio, CD changer in trunk, re-install seats, new carpet. Hush mat and a new dash wiring harness were purchased but deemed not necessary.
Engine compartment: power booster/master cylinder, radiator, thermostat, water pump, HD fan clutch, fuel pump/rubber fuel lines, plugs, belts, radiator hoses, blower motor, hood scoop drain tube, rotor/points, oil change, A/C recharge.
Body/exterior: LED tail lights, CB antenna, new BFG tires, t-top weatherstrips, re-install passenger fender well, re-install hood, clay/wax.
I'm covering the '76, it has new motor mounts, a complete brake rebuild, repaired A/C and a host of other little items but still needs exhaust work and troubleshooting the carburetor.
We're making progress! Bandit Runners are the best!

Sound deadener is all in now. From the Back seat floor board to the tail lights. Makes quite the difference. Could have went further but would oh had to purchase more. On to other projects.
