      Solargold---

You're hilarious--but I must admit, it sure looks like it!

Actually, I've always been curious about the Brewster green color on my car. I had it repainted by a good friend in '95 and we took the front clip off the car. There was untouched, unfaded, original paint on the inside of the front fenders on the cowl area and we had a reputable company (English Color) here in Dallas painstakenly color match it exactly.

We stuck with single stage instead of basecoat/clearcoat.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen a Brewster green car this specific shade, all the cars I've seen have been repainted and I can't say I've seen a low mileage, unrestored BG T/A. The repainted cars all look like there's a touch of candy in the paint giving it more of a kelly green tint than the deep forest green mine seems to have.

      Chumbrother--

Yeah, I noticed it too. I think this topic was overlooked by the Bandit Run administrator and was never left pinned to the 2010 topics (now closed). Somehow it was picked back up (might have been me, I'd have to research the thread) for 2012.

Major mods about to happen to the TA! Lots of planning and research done, just have to see how she turns out in the end. Planning on being able to drive her for about 2 weeks prior to the Bandit Run to get all the bugs worked out of her. Anxious and scared at the same time. Lots of money set aside for this and if things don't fall into place might not make the Run..... Or if a big component fails.... Wait that's what Credit cards are for!

Just found a major leak in my carburator on the Little Red TA so I've ordered another one and it came in DAMAGED. muttering image SOOOO... ordered two more just like it to see if they come in damaged. So far...

      1) AC is charged and cooling...
      2) new thermostat seems to be working although warmer weather will tell all...
      3) Got to get the new carb arrived and installed and adjusted and getting 20 mpg...
Wait a minute ... that may be too much to ask!
      4) Got to get the front end repainted where I hit a full grown coyote at 55 mph last
week and punched a 1/2" hole right through the front bumper cover.
      5) Got to have the driver's window adjusted and the trunk lid and the driver's front seat

I think that will do it!
