Name: 1978 Trans Am
Description: My brother got this car and started to do some restoration on it, sanding minor rust off, weld small wheel well rust spots, and some other stuff. He had to move up North and left the car in my yard. He has asked me to sell it for him. Here's what is in the car: It has a GM 355 c.i. chevy V-8 engine with less than 10,000 miles on it, 310 hp and a 350 GM turbo transmission with the shift kit. The engine Block: 4 Bolt main, 1 piece rear main seal, Passenger side dipstick, Align honed main bearing bore, Cylinders honed on computer controlled machine to within .0002 straightness and roundness, Cylinders are sonic tested for thickness, Rotating Assembly: Blueprint premium cast iron crankshaft, Hypereutectic pistons, Chevy heavy beam rods with 150,000 PSI bolts, Hastings moly rings, Melling high volume oil pump, Hydraulic flat tappet cam, Heavy duty double roller timing set, Cylinder Heads: Blueprint premium center bolt cast iron, Hardened retainers and springs, 2.02 swirl polished intake valves, 1.60 swirl polished exhaust valves, NOTE: THIS ENGINE WILL NOT WORK FOR APPLICATIONS REQUIRING EGR, 9.5 to 1 Compression, Brass freeze plugs, Camshaft Installation: .480 Int / .486 Exh & 229 Int / 230 Exh duration @ .050, Horsepower: 310, Torque: 360, Compression Ratio: 9.5 to 1, Ignition Timing: 13 to 16 degress initial / 34 degrees total. I have the title, but when the car sells I will need to mail it to my brother so that he can sign it have him mail it back to me in order to give it to the buyer. I have attached a picture of what it looked like before he started sanding it down. It is currently in PRIMER. It is a running Trans Am, battery is dead so if we need to crank it it will have to be charged. Has the honeycomb wheels too.
