Description: This is the necessary seat frame modifications I had to make in order to swap out my 1988 Corvette Sport seat cushions with the 1988 Corvette Standard seat cushions. It took me eight hours to figure out the seat frame modifications needed to properly mount the Standard cushions. And an additional four hours to repeat the process for the passengers seat.
In retrospect I am pleased at the quality of the seat cushions I purchased from corvettesouth.com , but I'm disappointed in the outcome with the staple holes on the sides of the seat shells. I need some kind of 1" trim to cover them up.
