May 28, 2010 at 11:51 pm: A quick explanation of MAXXINE's comment is in order: During the Concours, the Convention committee had arranged for a trip to Williamsburg Pottery, a place that sells pottery made at their facility, but also has a little bit of everything else - from a farmer's market through candles, dried flowers, and authentic "penny candy". When the tour bus arrived back at the host hotel, we were in the middle of a torrential downpour, and I was the only guy to meet the bus with an umbrella to walk his companion back to the hotel from the curb in front, across the parking lot. The bus couldn't get any closer because the lot was closed for the car show! Several ladies asked if I would be kind enough to walk them back, but I explained that I was waiting for my fiancee.
(And it was only TWO offers! )

May 28, 2010 at 8:46 pm: This vacation was 13 days, 11 of which rained. In this picture and many others you can tell by the telltale dry spot under the cars. Jim was a gentleman waiting at the bus door with an umbrella for his fiance . . . he got a lot or offers from other women to be his fiance.
