I'm not a Jimmie Johnson fan but I'm glad one of the Hendrick cars won that day. I'm sure whoever won the race would have dedicated it to those who lost their lives in the crash, but having the team that was directly involved win made it even more special. I remember that race and Johnson breaking down in Victory Lane.

It was good of all the Hendrick team's primary sponsors to give up the hood space for the memorial graphics for that race. I'm sure that, contractually, they didn't have to do it.
