: Description: Each year I organize a car and truck show for the town of Paw Paw, WV. The show offers dash plaques and top 30 trophies plus Veteran's Choice and Longest Distance trophies, as well as goody bags and a bunch of very nice door prizes. Any profits from the show are given to the parade committee for next year's event, so it gets better every year. There is also a Memorial Day parade beginning and ending at the show field with additional awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the show cars that choose to participate in the parade. Following the parade is a veteran's ceremony with guest speakers and honors. The 50/50 drawing resulted in $100 going to the winner and $100 donated to the Band Boosters for instrument repair. This was our 3rd year and we had 56 cars and trucks enter the show. The weather was perfect (but slightly hot and humid) and everyone had a great day. Food, drinks, crafts and other entertainment were there for enjoyment. Following the show, some of the participants organized and traveled as a group to the Supercruise in Cumberland, MD (about 23 miles away) where 500 cars from several states gathered for a great evening of cruising, eating and making friends.
