Photos in the “260z interior upgrade” Album

Album photo
Description: This Z was done in the 80's, with a black vinyl and green tweed interior, and even though it never got any wear, I decided that I wanted to upgrade it to leather. Since this is never going to be a stock 260 again, I decided that an upgrade was needed, and if you have ever sat on black vinyl on a hot summer day, (even with the tweed inserts, it sucks), there is no substitute for leather. I went with the black suede inserts to accent it with, and designed the door panels to flow with the armrests.
The black with saddle interior looks 100% better than the green tweed, and really goes a lot better with the car's Porsche racing green.
The stock seats, which gave no real lumbar support or thigh support were upgraded to 2005 Tiburon seats. A little wider, so some hammering on the transmission tunnel for clearance on the drivers side ensued to mount them. 3 months later and I finally finished the headrests, but don't have pics of them installed, will have to add that later. Now the car will be ready for some comfortable long distance traveling, but still have to get the A/C hooked up to make it really comfortable.
