Description: 3rd Annual GM Performance Parts LSX Shootout presented by GM High Tech Performance Magazine in conjunction with The NMCA Edelbrock Muscle Car Nationals was held in Memphis, TN October 15-18 2009. A fun filled weekend that ended with some amazing results. Ramair1 installed a number of upgrades that performed flawlessly except it's N2O install as the solenoids were not working at WOT on take off, so finished my runs NA and was consistant at the runs made. Suspension upgrades for better weight transfer helped Ramair1 with a wheels up performance. Ramair1 participated in the True Street class where you have to go on a 30 mile cruise and then once back at the track make 3 passes with hopefully the best avaerage time closest to your index class. Well with not as much time at the 1320 as I would have like to, I did not place but had a great time anyway. I did however make a showing on Sunday with the car show portion with a good size number of cars in attendance with approximately 150 - 200 cars. After an all night cleaning of melted rubber from the wheel wells and quarter panels Ramair1 managed came away with "Best Interior" presented by GM High Tech Performance Magazine, "1st Place" presented by Fastest Street Car Magazine, and "Best of Show" overall awarded with a 6' Trophy. And a feature story from Fastest Street Car Magazine. Wow!!! Some times the hard work does pay off!!! Now back home and trying to catch a breath, I'll troubleshoot the N2O issue and try to be ready for another race event locally. I appolgize for not getting any of the race action as I was usually in the staging lanes running my car or working on my car. I did however managed to get some shots of the car show portion and a little eye candy action as well. So enjoy a few shots.
