Description: My favorite car show of the year, "Das Awkscht Fescht" (The August festival" in German) runs from Friday through Sunday of the first weekend of August every year. I usually go on Sunday, but due to a conflict in plans I went there on Saturday this year instead. It was completely different from what I'm used to, since on Sunday, the cars are arranged by make and, in some cases, model. On Saturday they're grouped by age by and large. There were some groupings by model (Corvettes, Model A's, Thunderbirds, Metropolitans, Tri-5 Chevys), but it was really nice to see cars of the 1920's or 1930's all grouped with similar cars, same thing with Post-WW II cars, etc. As usual, I took way too many pictures, so I'm planning on breaking them up into several albums that I'll post over the next few weeks.
