1964 Lark Daytona "Wagonnaire". GMC had an SUV with a similar sliding roof panel a few years ago, and tried to pass it off as a radical new idea...

Studebakers were amazing. Went to an all Studebaker show once at the AACA museum in Hershey...I could not believe the design and engineering.

Definitely. Studebaker always had innovative ideas. GMC copied the Wagonnaire concept in the mid 2000's with a model of one of their SUV's, advertising that it was something all-new. 'Fraid not!
