All the insulting Ford comments aside, nice work. You clearly care about doing the best job you can, even on an old beater like this. Your father-in-law should be pleased.

The runs sanded out just fine. I tinted the color a little with other paints I had left and got an even better match. I even found some clear-coat to give it a long lasting gloss!

It may not be a fancy or exciting car but jobs like this bring us back to the basics. Work looks great. I kinda like working on things where it doesnt have to be perfect. It keep your skills honed so when you do have a job on the TA or what ever that you want really nice you are more confident to do it. Nice job.
