- Description: This car was owned by a friend of mine until last year when it went up for sale at Barrett Jackson. It is the original car campaigned by Motion Performance for years in the quarter mile. I redid the seats and put carpet in the car for him before it went to the auction.
The car was first brought back to the original black and white paint before he realized it was the Motion car and he had his small block set up in it. After showing it for a year, he researched every detail and built the car back to racing form, from getting the original heads from Motion Performance building a big block (which blew 3 times before the auction and finally getting it right) to painting every detail of the car when it was last campaigned. The car didn't do as well as thought in the auction but the experience was worth it. - By: mrugly
