The engine has been rebuilt it's super strong. I got the car from a creditor who receive the car on a bad debt. he had the gas tank flush and tuned the car. it runs excellent. its has some electrical issues...........its a d code car=1964 1/2 with 289 4brl low compresion built may 25th 1964 wimbelton with black interior power brakes cruise-o-matic console and 3 piont spinner caps built in Flint sold new in Boston. By the plate number they must have bought the car in Boston and moved directley to California. My friend who is an expert on this cars told me if it had spent 1 winter in Boston it would be a rust bucket which it isn't. the floor pans and frame rails are excellent

i put that rustoleum rust nuturalizer and sanded down the bare metal area where the kid had removed the paint with aircraft stripper and let it set outside for 5 years unprotected
