We will be staying at the Settle Inn LaCrosse, 2110 Rose St. As you cross the I-90 Bridge into Wisconsin, take Exit 3 for Hwy. 53 and 35. It is just a short distance south on Hwy 53. Cost is $79.00/night plus tax. Call 608-781-5100 to make a reservation. Mention MN Packard Club to get the discount. We have reserved rooms through July 20 so please call before then.
Our weekend begins with the evening meal at 6:30 on Friday at a restaurant next to the Settler Inn. Should anyone want to arrive early in the afternoon, pick up your information packet at the motel. In it you will find a map of LaCrosse along with some suggested places of interest that you might want to see on your own. LaCrosse is a very compact city so everything is just a short drive away and it is easy to find your way around. Our weekend will end with the breakfast on Sunday. For those who wish to explore LaCrosse further on Sunday, the information packet will provide you with ideas.
The following activities need to be prepaid so that we can have an accurate count for reservations.

Pickwick Mill: Located in MN at Pickwick. Is on the National and State Register. Mill is 6 stories high built of local limestone. It has a beautiful 20 by 4 foot waterwheel. Mill will be in operation for us and flour milled there can be purchased. Tour guides will take us through.
Dahl Auto Museum: Located in downtown LaCrosse. It celebrates the Dahl family’s involvement as auto dealers for over 100 years and 5 generations. It features the history of the automobile through the eyes of Ford Motor Company with displays of autos from the early 1900’s through the present.
Mississippi Explorer: Operates out of LaCrosse. Only boat that goes into the side channels. Wildlife naturalist (one of several professors from local colleges) narrates the tour telling us about the “wild” side as well as the “working” side of the river. We will see eagles, beaver, blooming American lotus (the largest water plant in No. America), etc. Items from the National Wildlife Service will be on board for us to see. Very interactive tour.
We hope to see you in LaCrosse this year for a time of fellowship and fun.
