Yes 1985 was the 1st year for the IROC. It's a TBI cause it has a 5-speed. It was not till 1987 that you could get the TPI with a 5-speed. 1987 was also the return of the 350 in the Camaro but it only came with an auto tranny.

What a find! I wonder what was in the other trailers? Is this the first year for the IROC Z-28 model? I had a 86 and it was fuel injected, this one is throttle body injected. Still though an amazing discovery!! Wonder what they paid for it?

now after some water & mcquires wax I'd have to say with that beening what it is I'd leave it as so & call to find out the history & then my next call would be to Barrett Jackson- I would not even set in it.
That is one lucky Man that found that Awsome ride,& of all Camaro's out there that one would be worth a Ment!

I wonder if that car will even turn over after sitting that long? Mice probably living in the intake. frown image I felt like I was watching Titanic, when they raised the safe out of the water looking for the "Jewel of the Sea"! Cool find, for sure. There has to be a lucerne blue 71 Trans Am out there in some trailer somewhere with 4.3 miles on it.

Unbelievable!
Yes that belongs in a museum with just a new underhood insulation from the little tenants and mild rinse but wouldn't want to wash off the markings.
Great find!
