Starting my new rebuilt L82.
It cranked up on the first try. I wanna thank all my Motortopia Friends for your support and suggestions. For someone who has never done an engine transplant before I didn't feel like I was doing this all alone. And a big salute of thanks to my 22 year old son. Without his help and muscles this would have taken way longer of me to finish.

It's time to get that thing on the road.
great job.
First of all, if you went with a Highperformance cam, the cam needs to be dial in and then you need to get the timing down before you can even start to adjust the carb. Did you put electric cutouts on your headers? The engine sounds strong....you go boy!
