The 2011 Bandit Run kicks off this Saturday in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is the fifth running of the event, and over 125 cars are expected to make the 1100-mile-journey from Lincoln to Atlanta, Georgia. Lots of special events are planned throughout the route including museum tours, car shows, and a stop at the Kansas Speedway.
The events begin on Saturday in Lincoln with an tour of the Speedway Motors Museum and an open house at Restore-A-Muscle-Car. On Sunday, there is a car show at Husker Auto Group from 8 am to 3 pm, open to the public. If you’re in the area, make sure you stop by to see the cool cars and even a replica of Snowman’s big rig!
