During the early days 100,000 bar. a day was not uncommon and during some price wars the price dropped to 3 cents a barrel. But I can’t find where it dropped to 1 cent.
I don’t know the answer but both options seem too low. So I’ll make my guess $1
im gonna guess 5 cents seems a little low but .05 back then is kinda like $3.00 now i belive
I ran a quick Google search to find out. The best answer Icould find was 96 cents.

The correct answer is five cents.
