1923 Ford T TRACK ROADSTER BUCKET (RAT A TUDE)

My passion for hot rods is long and deep, i like everything and i've had all the types,muscle cars,show cars,street machines,classics,and drag cars but i never had a street rod of my own,i was always too busy building or painting them for others.so in 2003 i ordered a 23 t-bucket kit from SPIRITCARS.COM, they sent me my project on two pallets and i tore into it. hope you enjoy the pics. with any luck i should have it running summer 2010 i hope.
my t has a 427 chevy RAT motor +.060= 439 c.i.,it has a stock crank and rods, TRW closed chamber pistons,with 1973 454 open chamber heads that are milled .024"and cc'd,a CRANE FIREBALL hyd cam & lifters .544" lift & 228 dur @.050,CRANE pushrods and GM performance long slot rockers.The bottom end has a CLOYES true roller chain,GM performance windage tray, high volume oil pump and 8 qt pan. Up top is a PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS polished aluminum CROSSWINDS intake and HOLLEY 3310 750 cfm carb. The spark comes from a GM HEI and performance coil. EXHAUST exits via SOUTHERN RODS ceramic coated sprint style headers into 4" side pipes.All that power is passed to a turbo 350 trans by a BOSS HOG 3200 stall converter and ends up in a GM 10 bolt from an S-10 with 3.42 gears and an AUBURN posi. Rubber is from MICKEY THOMPSON and spin on AMERICAN SALTFLAT SPECIALS!
SPIRIT fiberglass 23 track roadster body, shorty windshield,SPEEDWAY polished column,GRANT wheel,LOKAR 23" RAT FINK shifter,aluminum 4 core radiator and GILMER BELT DRIVE. The brakes are GM discs up front and drums in the back.
KILLER PAINT BY OWNER !!!, Starting with OMNI urethane base coat,flames are done in waterbase pearls and candy, stripes are all HOUSE OF KOLOR, and its all buried in tons of OMNI CLEARCOAT and sanded/rubbed to perfection.
