About
This is my first Hot Rod. It is all hand built. The cowel is from a 1928 Ford Roadster combined with the rear of a 1928 Phatelon. It has a 1927 Grille and a shortened 1927 pickup bed. The frame was handbuilt on my garage floor with 4'X2" rectangular steel. The truck is presently unfinished as health reasons have delayed it's progress.
Specs
Engine is a 421 SBC with Keith Black Pistons, Chirello rods, Lunati crank, Comp Cams camshaft, ARP head studs, ARP main studs, Miledon oil pump, and the rotating assembly was balenced by Campbell Crankshaft. The transmission is a Neal Chance TH350 which was modified for street use. It has a 2000 RPM stall converter and B&M Promatic shifter The rear end is an 8" Ford with a Detroit Locker with 2.73 gears..
Mods
I built it how I wanted it with much help of my son.
