1934 Chevrolet 5 Window (Our Coupe)
Last updated Dec 26, 2009
This is the 2nd 34 Chev coupe to have come into the family. The first one was way back in the late 1960's and was my first rod. Mine was a 3 window Master full fendered rod with a 401 nailhead in what was not much more than a shell.
This one was purchased as a project for my son in a very rough state. It came from Idaho and from the original photos I have of it there is no doubt it has never had any work done on it. When I bought it the original paint was still on it. The picture shows the level he got it to but it really proved to be far to large a project for a first time builder. We managed to get a new 34 Ford reproduction frame under it because that was the easiest to find, Mustang II suspension, 350 Chev engine and a R400 transmission before we sold it to a local fellow who is almost finished with it now.
The car is still in Toronto and no doubt in the right hands to bring it to conclusion.
