About
Henry is a 1946 Chevrolet pick-up truck. She was restored by a neighboring farmer named Henry, hence the name.
After Henry restored this truck, he put approximately 100 miles on her, then parked her in the barn for 10 years.
I come across it and my wife had to have it.
Henry is pretty much bone stock, with a 216 splash oiled inline 6 cylinder, and a non-synchronized 4-speed transmission. I've split the stock manifold and am running dual exhaust through glass pack mufflers.
Henry is a very early 46 model, one of the first trucks built at the end of WWll. He sports the fairly rare and uncommon welds across the windshield pillars, as Chevy couldn't get their hands on grinding wheels, immediately following the war.
Henry recently went through a fairly significant face-lift, having been T-Boned by a drunk driver on his way home from a Friday night cruise night at the local Sonic this summer.
