This car was bought by my uncle christmas eve 1976. He fixed it up a bit and drove it to college for a couple years. After that it got parked for a few years in a garage, then cleaned up and driven around a little bit, then parked for 20+ years. It moved with him from each house he owned. I wanted it for years and finally his wife said it had to go. he thought i was joking when i accepted the car, until we showed up at his house with a truck and trailer. The car is 100% original, and i have been picking away at it getting it road worthy. She now runs great, drives great for a 62 year old car. has that great old car smell!

1948 business coupe, three passenger, trunk bigger than a small pickup bed, fluid drive, optional heater/defroster, 230 straight 6, vacuum wiper

Mods

replaced everything with the brakes except the brake pedal. new fuel tank, fuel lines, rebuilt generator, replaced regulator, rebuilt carb.
