About

Some young guy inherited this car when his grandfather died and promptly took it from the barn where it was stored to an AMC dealer and traded in on a Jeep. Soon afterwards, I was able to purchase it from that dealer with only 54,000 miles on it. I had it for six years, until the timing-chain went out and I lost my job about the same time, so I had to sell it in 1983 to put food on the table.

Specs

The drive-train was English, built by Austin, and this one had the smaller inline-four engine, about 1200 cc, that was only used the first year or two.

Factory Options

None, not even a radio.

Mods

None
