About
This is my long term project. I have owned BeLowjob since 1986. It was stock when I got it, I drove it for about a month and decided stock would never do. After about a month of planning and thinking about it, I dropped the roof 2 1/4". In 1987 my first son was born and BuLowjob was put on hold. Last winter I finally got back to it. The tailgate has been exchanged for a sedan delivery style liftgate. The windows (including the windshield) have been cut with no cracks. Just as I was starting to make progress, I bought Turdle and BeLowjob was put on hold again.
My plans are for a body off, rotisserie resto/mod, pro touring, BB automatic of some kind, 17's or 18's with fat rubber, firewall back frame (I like the front clip on these cars, the geometry works real well with air ride), four link so that the air ride sits on the rockers, Ford 9", four wheel discs, etc, etc . . . It will be a mild custom with a 53 Buick waterfall grill, 55 chev front bumper (they have a slightly thinner in profile). I had the interior done 20 years ago but it is dated. I like the Tropical Turquoise (not a lot of that colour around) and will accent it with colour complimentary flames. It will be driver quality (I don't build trailered show cars). I'll do most of the work myself or trade labour. I would like to have it finished by the time I'm retired (08/2014); do a little touring of Canada and the USA with a colour coordinated 16' or 18' trailer. As always, plans subject to change!!!
