I am the 3rd owner (kind of) Original owner was named Frances who bought the car new in Hayward California & drove it for for over 2 decades. She traded it in for a new car & the dealer ended up throwing a rod & leaving it on the side of the road. A tow company ended up storing it on their lot for several years before Billy & Nadine Bradford discovered it & rescued her. The brought her back to life & eventually tracked down the original owner thru some paperwork. They actually drove the car over to the original owners house so they could be re-united! So that is why her name is Frances! If you type in 1958 Rambler Cross Country most of the pictures on the internet are of this wagon. In a weak moment Billy sold her to me & I am fortunate enough to be her caretaker. As with all old cars the work never stops. I hope to finish putting a front end on the the matching trailor before the 2010 AMC Nationals. (wish me luck!)
