1963 Ford Thunderbird (Treebird)
Last updated May 3, 2010
Dad's had this since the 60s... I got it with about 87k and haven't driven it much. It had been sitting in the same spot for 10 years, and not driven at all since 1984. When I brought it home I immediately got it running and found that it needed a bunch of stuff including carb, fuel pump, and gas tank. I've also replaced the whole brake system so it's pretty much running /driving. This car has the worst rust issues of all my cars and is going to need half quarters and a trunk pan. I have most of the parts I need already, it's just a matter of finding time to do the work. Probably could buy another t-bird for less than what this will cost me in time/parts but this one's been in the family so long I gotta fix it.
390/4bbl/3 speed trans. Sounds mean!
It has power windows, power 4 drum brakes, am radio, fancy hubcaps.... I think that's about it, doesn't even have the seatbelt option.
