Beautiful Monza! I own a '64 and a '68 coupe. Are you a CORSA member?

I've liked Corvairs for a while now, but there aren't many "Earlies" in my area. Or maybe it's that I just see my friend CorvairJim's '66 everywhere! Whatever, that's one sweet 'Vair you've got! trophy image

About

Well, the story behind this car is interesting. So how did a guy who had a trophy winning 68 Camaro end up with a 64 Corvair? Well long story short, my Camaro was so nice I found I never drove it. So bascially it sat in my garage and I wiped it down with a diaper every so often. Then when I would go to start it on that "rare occassion", it may or may not start from sitting so long. So I finally decided to sell it a few years back and did really well on Ebay at the top of the market. I then took the money and the wife and kids and I went to Disney World and had a blast. I took the remaining money and paid some bills and such. Well early in 2009 I started getting the itch for another 60's car, but this time I wanted a convertible the kids and I could enjoy and drive!. Yeah, 60's verts are not all that cheap I soon found out...... That is, exept for the Corvair. So I started looking and found this one on Ebay and got it for $5300 from the Chicago area.
