About

I built this 1:25 scale model for a "Community Build Project" on the Model Cars Magazine website. The theme of the build was "The Cars of Rock 'n' Roll & Country Music". Since I originated the build, I got to pick my song first, and I wanted to build this one ever since I gfoundout that the Lindberg model company was going to produce a model of the '64 Dodge.

Specs

1964 Dodge 330
425 Factory Rated Horsepower (Substantially Underrated)
Quarter Mile: 11.7 Seconds@124 mph.

Factory Options

Super Stock Package, which includes:
426 Race Hemi Engine
4.56:1 Limited Slip Differential
Aluminum Front End Sheet Metal with Hood Scoop
Battery Mounted In The Trunk

A727 Torque Flite Automatic Transmission

Mods

Rough-Cast Torq-Thrust wheels in front.
Hurst Floor Shifter replacing dash-mounted pushbuttons.

(Modifications to this model from what came in the kit:
Photo-etched trim parts for the grille, instrument panel, and selected exterior trim, engine wiring, foiled "Chrome" trim on the body, photoreduced gauges, computer-generated 1964 California license plates.)
