I just recently moved away from bikes back to cars, I traded a guy my Yamaha VStar for this car, I cannot tell you how much happier I am with a car and the enjoyment over the bike. This car is a Basic Galaxie 500 Fastback. It had the body work already done and a so so paint job, obviously they did not clean the surface of the car well before painting, there are lots of imperfections but it passes the 10 ft smile test big time. I am making plans now to start working on the engine as there is some smoke from the drivers pipe, cyl 5 and 6 plugs are wet and brown so I know I have a gasket issue and valve seals to fix. I'll move on to trim work both inside and out.

Should have a 4bbl carb I believe but there is a Holly 2 bbl there instead, somewhere in it's past someone replaced the original with an inexpensive replace ment. Need to resolve.

Mods

No mods right now except for wheels and tires. But I'm going to change the tires, look into front disc conversion, upgrade the carb/intake, and install an air ride kit and classic air system.
