I picked up the valve covers off Ebay a couple years ago. I was looking for some chrome covers without the spout for the oil filler/breather cap since I already have a cap on my timing cover. All the chrome repros have a cap. I believe the Ebay auction said these came off of a Ford Cobra 289. I could be wrong though. Can't remember exactly. I still plan to have them rechromed at some point. The left one is pitted somewhat but still looks great to be over 40 years old! Thanks again for your comments. This is my baby! Been in the family since the early 70's. I have since finished the Engine Compartment. In this pic I didn't have the spark plug wire seperators or the shock to cowl braces on. I had pretty much just put everything back together at this point and was eager to take pics!
im a Mustang Man, and i love seeing cleanly styled mustangs, not restomod overdone crap.
Nice Job!
especially the chrome stock-type valve covers,
are they Shelby issue?
they look like the Shleby GT350-R valve covers.
Extremely nice,
dare i say it, the best engine bay around.
