You had friends in school who liked VWs like mine, while the boys in my class would have flipped over YOUR car! It's a beauty!

looks like you made a good investment espcially for your son as long as he is a smart driver when it comes time, I happen to notice the hood scoop I don't believe that is original to that year make & moel of CUDA
but great find & grat choice over all!

1965 Plymouth Barracuda (Da Beast)

Last updated Nov 12, 2009

Photo of a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda (Da Beast)

Finally, after 22 years, I have bought another 'Cuda. Can't wait to get to work and make it my own. I'm ready to go to some cruise-ins and car shows.

it has a 318 cu. in. V8 with a mild cam. edelbrock intake with holley 650 cfm carb. 904 tranny and a tiny 7 1/4 rear. my research shows it should have a 3:23 gear. small motor=small horsepower, but still a lot of fun to drive!

Factory Options

this was a basic car from the factory. it came with a 6 cyl. and 3 speed column shift. no air, manuel brakes, and manuel steering.
