I made the trip from NYC to Pittsburgh in my 'vair. It was fun until she burned up all the oil in her and I had to keep pouring more in. I did manage to replace the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate.
She is going to need a major engine overhaul. She is blowing whitish smoke on startup and when I shift gears of gun her. I would say she needs new rings and valves. I have heard that while I'm doing that, I might as well replace the cam, the pistons, basically pretty much everything. This is going to get expensive.
