From album Bringing Ashley Home. by CorvairJim
We decided to take US30 from the PA Turnpike in Breezewood across to Gettysburg to drop in on our friends at the Corvair Ranch to get a replacement wheel cover... and a SPARE TIRE AND WHEEL! On the way down Route 30, we saw this little hole-in-the-wall used car lot with THREE Corvairs for sale! Can you say photo op?

All 3 of the other Corvairs look envious of your car!

Great album, man! I almost feel like I was along for the ride myself. (I bet the back seat would have been pretty cramped for 1,800 miles!) Once again, trophies for every photo. trophy image

You know how I said about the last picture that I haven't seen two Corvairs on the same day outside a car show? This picture just doubled that! Looks like the two of you had a great adventure. Thanks for inviting us along!

Cool album, Jim! It almost felt like I was along for the ride, especially in St Louis and when you had the blowout. I'm going to have to check out some of your other albums.

That was a great road trip and I enjoyed seeing view of my town from the Arch, something I've never seen and never will.

Jim is my chauffer, that is the only reason I married him (and the only reason changes from day to day). Often on roadtrips, Jim starts to sniff and then he comes upon a nearby corvair.

Well Pops, actually this was about halfway across the state the morning of the final day of the trip. We had spent the night in Breezewood, PA, close to the Turnpike rest stop where we saw the Corvair convertible on the transporter.
