1967 Ford Mustang Shelby Gt 350 (Gt 350 convertible clone)
Last updated Jan 31, 2010
I have always wanted a Shelby Mustang but could not afford the real thing until I retired in Dec of 08. Then my Dream came true. I bought a brand new 2007 Shelby GT vin # 2012 of 5,660 produced in 07. Mine is Black with Silver stripes. The car is signed by Carroll. Back in 2005 when my company made public of the down sizing. I decided someday I am going to build a 67 Shelby clone. Not knowing I would own a real Shelby. Shelby Hadn't announced That there would be a New Shelby Yet. So I bought a dash panel for a 67 and sent it off and Had Carroll sign it. Long story short.I am building a 67 Shelby Gt 350 convertible clone. With the help from members of the Slo Rollers and car guy friends Here in town. The support has been over whelming and I can't thank them all enough for the help and guidence.
1967 Shelby Gt 350 convertible clone. 1968 convertible used as the build car. It will have a 302 4 speed with an 8 inch rearend when finished. The car is Brittney Blue and I am leaving it that color. It is going to get white Laman's stripes.
Right now it is a 6 cylinder 3 speed car." BUT NOT FOR LONG"
All of the Shelby parts have been supplied by Tony Branda Shelby and Mustang parts. The only thing that will be non stock to the 67 Shelby Gt350 will be the wheels.I have decided to use the Elenor style wheels.
