1968 197 inch wheel base, John Shoemaker Chassis out of Sacramento California. Ex-Top Fuel Dragster that ran 392 hemi engines, John change over to run a shaft shat 727 Trans, and Big Block or Raise Block Mopar.
1969 440 6 pack short block, bored 4.350 in. With TRW - Forged Dome Top – 13 to 1; .30 over pistons to 446 C.I with Molly rings, Rods were shot beaded, and reconditioned, crank ground 10/10, and Balance. Block; Vat-ted, shot beaded, new cam bearing, and deck clean-up .011 Heads were 906’s milled .060 thousands, three angle valve job. Pistons, Rings.
Edelbrock 440 Intake Manifold, Torker II, Single Plane, Aluminum, Natural, Square Bore, Chrysler.
COMP Cams Solid Lifter Flat Tappet cam. 585 lift, duration 275 at .50 lift, intake and exhaust.
Holley model 4150 850 CFM carburetor. Duel Holley 50cc Accelerator Pumps, no choke, duel feed center hung fuel bowl, & fuel gauge.
Hooker Header ultimate in high performance headers and exhaust systems.
Mopar Performance Electronic, Magnetic Pickup, Mechanical advance. Mopar Performance Ignition Controller, Mopar Chrome ECU, Chrome ignition controllers good through 8,000 rpm. B&M Torque Converter 9’ with 5000 stall. A-727 short shaft transmission with, Mopar TransGo TF-2 Shift Kit item #727-TF2. B&M Red solid kick down band. Billet steel 4.2 kickdown lever. MOPA manual shift kit, reverse direction.
